Extraordinary Women

What's the difference between ordinary and extraordinary? A little "extra!"

Do you know a woman who gives a little "extra?" Nominate her for the Extraordinary Rochester Women Award in one of the following categories:

Artist/Musician: dedicates time and talent to arts or music
Business Woman: entrepreneur, employee or employer
Caregiver: mom, caregiver, homemaker or daycare provider
Volunteer: volunteers for non-profit organization
Overall: inspires in various areas of life

Rochester Women magazine and area businesses will recognize area women who give that little extra with the 2009 Extraordinary Rochester Women Award. We will feature the top five award winners in the Rochester Women January/February 2009 issue. Award winners will receive gifts and gift certificates from various sponsors.

A High Tea honoring the Extraordinary Rochester Women Award winners and nominees will be scheduled for January. Invitations will be sent to all nominators and nominees.

Women may nominate themselves. Independent contractors or employees of Women Communications L.L.C. and Midwest Litho are not eligible to enter. Winners must agree to being photographed and interviewed by the magazine for publication. Those who do not agree will not qualify for the award. Winners will be announced in Rochester Women January/February 2009 issue.
