With the outbreak of COVID-19, everyone has had to change the way they live. Teleworking, distance learning, social distancing and hunkering down at home are all standard activities for now. Our daily routines have changed significantly, but what has not changed is the heart-warming passion and energy of Rochester-area women who are helping others during these uncertain times.

Rochester Women Magazine interviewed an employee redeployed to the front lines, a retiree, a teacher, a nurse and an expectant mom. Despite having diverse backgrounds and needed adjustments, a common thread connecting these women is that all of them continue to support their families, their communities and others in need.

Let these women motivate you to do great things… Donate blood. Make and distribute face masks. Support local business and non-profit organizations. Reach out to family and friends. Smile. What can you do to help? Be sure to share with us on our Facebook page.
